Pakistan to Address Global Issues at 50th OIC Council Session in Cameroon

Yaounde: Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, will lead the national delegation at the 50th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers starting tomorrow in Yaounde, Cameroon.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Qazi is set to present Pakistan’s stance on several critical global issues, including the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the dire humanitarian situation there. His agenda also includes discussing the rising tide of Islamophobia and xenophobia, climate change, terrorism, and other contemporary challenges facing the world.

Additionally, the Foreign Secretary plans to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other OIC member states on the sidelines of the conference, aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties and foster unity among the nations.
