Pakistan to Establish 280 Skills Centers with British and Middle Eastern Educational Institutions

Islamabad: Pakistan will collaborate with British and Middle Eastern educational institutions to establish 280 skills centers aimed at enhancing the employability of its youth globally. This initiative was confirmed during discussions held in Islamabad with a high-level international delegation and Pakistani education officials.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation comprised representatives from British and Middle Eastern educational institutions, while the Pakistani team was led by Federal Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Wani and Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Gulmina Bilal. It was noted that graduates from these centers would receive a joint certification from Pakistani, UK, and Gulf universities. Furthermore, in the initial phase, arrangements have been made to provide 80,000 jobs to successful candidates from these skills centers.
