Pakistan to Leverage Turkiye’s Expertise in Power Generation, Enhances Bilateral Trade and Investment

Washington DC, In a significant development, Pakistan and Turkiye have decided to intensify their cooperation in various sectors, including power generation, following a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and his Turkish counterpart, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek. The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting highlighted the long-standing ties between the two nations encompassing historical, political, economic, trade, cultural, and educational aspects. Minister Aurangzeb expressed that Pakistan stands to gain from Turkiye’s expertise in power generation and distribution, signaling a promising future for energy cooperation.
