Pakistan to Send 1,000 Agricultural Graduates to China for Advanced Training

Islamabad: In a significant educational collaboration, Pakistan will dispatch 1,000 agricultural graduates to China for specialized training in agriculture and food security, announced Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Federal Minister for Industries and Production and National Food Security. This initiative aims to enhance the skills and capacities of these graduates, focusing on modern agricultural practices.

According to Ministry of Industries and Production, the announcement came during discussions between Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain and Mr. Xu Hangtian Zhuheng Tian, Minister Counselor at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. The scholarships were finalized following the recent official visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister to China, highlighting a deepening bilateral cooperation in educational and agricultural sectors.

The program specifically targets the enhancement of Pakistani graduates’ capabilities in critical areas of food and agriculture, providing them with access to advanced techniques and knowledge. Preference in selection will be given to students from Balochistan, emphasizing inclusive educational opportunities across the country’s regions.
