Pakistani Government Ensures Safe Return of Students from Kyrgyzstan

Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that the Pakistani government is actively coordinating with Kyrgyzstan authorities to facilitate the safe repatriation of Pakistani students amid recent unrest.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, speaking at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Minister Tarar detailed the government’s efforts, including special flight permissions allowing four daily flights from Kyrgyzstan. He confirmed the safe arrival of one hundred seventy-five students, with comprehensive arrangements for their transportation and meals. Additionally, special immigration counters have been established at Lahore and Islamabad airports to streamline the students’ return.
