Pakistani Minister Invites Chinese Firm to Build Solar Plant

Islamabad, Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari has extended an invitation to LONGi Green Energy Technology, a leading Chinese company, to establish a solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing plant in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, During a meeting with LONGi’s President Zhenguo Li, Minister Leghari discussed Pakistan’s rich solar energy potential and the increasing share of renewable sources in the national energy mix. Li expressed his company’s support for advancing solar energy projects in Pakistan, which aligns with the country’s energy diversification and sustainability goals.
