Pakistani Prime Minister Visits Iran to Offer Condolences After Leaders’ Deaths

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran today to express his condolences following the tragic deaths of Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a helicopter crash.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and other senior cabinet ministers, will meet with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Imam Khamenei and the Acting President, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber. During these meetings, he will convey condolences on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan.
