Pakistani Umrah Pilgrims Welcomed in Makkah

Islamabad, A large group of over 12,000 Pakistani pilgrims has arrived in Makkah to perform Umrah, having previously visited Madinah. They have been accommodated primarily in the Azizia and Batha Quraish areas. This influx is part of a larger contingent of about 30,000 pilgrims who have traveled to Saudi Arabia under a government-sponsored program, via 126 flights, with an additional 2,000 arriving through private arrangements.

According to Press Information Department, the Pakistan Hajj mission, along with Saudi authorities and catering companies, have provided a warm reception to ensure the comfort and well-being of the pilgrims. Moreover, the arrival of twelve more flights in Madinah is expected today, with direct Hajj flights from Pakistan to Jeddah set to commence on May 24. The mission has also deployed 156 Mu’awineen to offer medical assistance and 336 assistants to help with transportation, accommodation, and food services. The main control office of the Hajj mission continues to guide and support the pilgrims through the Pak Hajj mobile app.
