Pakistan’s Finance Minister Details Economic Strategy at JP Morgan Seminar in Washington

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb articulated Pakistan’s economic policy and the government’s approach to imminent challenges during the JP Morgan Seminar titled “Pakistan: Economic Policy Outlook” held in Washington.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Finance Minister acknowledged the various challenges facing Pakistan and detailed the measures being undertaken to address them both in the short and long term. In discussions with representatives from Deutsche Bank, he expressed appreciation for the support historically provided to Pakistan and examined proposals for enhancing the country’s access to international capital markets.
