Peshawar Highlights Investment Opportunities Across Diverse Sectors

Peshawar, Abdul Karim Tordhir, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Industry, Crafts, and Technical Education, emphasized the vast investment and business opportunities available within various sectors of the province. During a visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade office in Peshawar Sadar, Tordhir stressed the importance of capitalizing on these opportunities and creating a favorable business environment to attract both local and foreign investors for the region’s development and prosperity.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the visit included a comprehensive briefing by the Director of Business Facilitation, Iqbal Sarwar, on the board’s responsibilities, achievements, and strategic goals, as well as the steps taken to ease and promote business activities in the province. Tordhir highlighted the critical role of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade in fostering trade and investment by identifying potential sectors and ensuring a conducive environment for business operations.

The Special Assistant underscored the board’s primary duty to attract investment to the province, showcasing significant areas for business and investment and providing necessary facilities to create a conducive work environment. Tordhir called for continued efforts from the board to fulfill its responsibilities effectively, pointing out Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s unique position in many sectors and the need for a strategic approach to leverage these opportunities.

Tordhir also praised the board’s initiatives in facilitating business operations and enhancing the ease of doing business, indicating the government’s commitment to economic growth and the prosperity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through strategic investment and trade development.
