PM reiterates need to develop Pak-Russia bilateral cooperation

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has said connectivity and energy are key sectors to develop collaboration between Pakistan and Russia to benefit people of the two countries and the region.

He was talking to Russian Ambassador Danila Ganich, who paid a farewell call on him in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Russia, a key player in the region and internationally, remains an important partner of Pakistan.

He expressed satisfaction at the steady growth of bilateral ties and reiterated the need to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar also appreciated cooperation between the two countries at international fora.

He appreciated the valuable contribution of the Ambassador towards further strengthening bilateral ties.

The Prime Minister wished the Ambassador well for his next assignment and hoped that he would always remain Pakistan’s friend.
