Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commemorated the 25th martyrdom anniversary of Havildar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, praising his heroic sacrifice for Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a statement released today, Prime Minister Sharif reflected on Havildar Lalak Jan’s bravery and ultimate sacrifice during his service in the Pakistan Army. He described Jan as a symbol of the army’s resolve to defend the nation under any circumstances.
Sharif expressed his admiration for Havildar Lalak Jan and his family, noting that their courage and dedication are a source of pride for the entire nation. He also extended his respects to the patriotism and commitment of the Pakistani armed forces, which safeguard the country’s borders from the Arabian Sea to the heights of Siachen.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the nation holds a deep gratitude towards its martyrs, whose sacrifices are forever cherished in the collective memory of Pakistan.
