PML-N Seeks Supreme Court Reconsideration on Reserved Seats Decision

Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has approached the Supreme Court with a review petition, urging the court to reconsider its recent verdict concerning the allocation of reserved seats to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the review petition filed today also seeks the suspension of the Court’s 12th July 2024 ruling on the reserved seats case involving the Sunni Ittehad Council, pending the outcome of this new petition. Additionally, PML-N has requested an expedited hearing on the matter, signaling the urgency and significance they attribute to the issue.
