PNS Babar Engages in Naval Exercises with Saudi Forces in Jeddah

Jeddah, The first MILGEM class warship of the Pakistan Navy, PNS Babar, recently visited the port of Jeddah, marking a significant moment in Pakistan-Saudi maritime relations. The visit included a series of meetings and a joint naval exercise aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation and strengthening friendly ties between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, upon its arrival in Jeddah, PNS Babar was greeted by high-ranking officials from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and Pakistani diplomatic personnel. The Commanding Officer of PNS Babar met with the Deputy Western Fleet Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. They discussed various issues of mutual interest, focusing particularly on maritime cooperation.

The culmination of the visit was marked by a naval exercise between PNS Babar and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces’ ship HMS Al Riyadh. The exercise was designed to promote mutual cooperation and reinforce the friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
