Pre-hajj stays of Pakistani intending pilgrims at Madinah to conclude on Wednesday

Islamabad, June 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): The pre-hajj stay of Pakistani intending pilgrims at Madinah will conclude on Wednesday. Radio Pakistan Correspondent Javed Iqbal reports from Makkah that around 25000 Pakistani pilgrims have successfully concluded their pilgrimage to Riaz Al-Jannah, Masjid e Nabwi till date. Saudi Arabia also welcomed over 66000 intending pilgrims from Pakistan for the Hajj pilgrimage. These include 58000 under government hajj scheme while remaining came under private scheme.

A total of 3044 intending pilgrims are scheduled to arrive in Makkah Mukarmah from Pakistan via ten flights on Monday. Different departments at Main Control Office Makkah Mukarmah, such as Loss and Found, Monitoring, Haram Guides, Call center, Madinah Departure, Accounts and Wheelchairs are working round the clock to provide every possible assistance to Pakistani pilgrims.

Medical Mission consisting of 304 doctors and paramedics from Pakistan is also delivering 24/7 medical services to the pilgrims. Sale of Qurbani Coupons to Hajj pilgrims has also been started through Saudi Post. The pre-hajj flight operation which spans a duration of one month will remain in progress till 21st of this month.
