Karachi, Premium Textile Mills Limited has issued a final notice urging shareholders to file claims for unclaimed dividends and shares. The notice, scheduled for publication in the “Business Recorder” and “DAILY AMN” on April 18, 2024, addresses dividends that have been unclaimed or unpaid for three years. Initially, a notice was sent on January 13, 2024, to the last known addresses of the shareholders, requesting them to submit their claims within three months. Despite this, only a few shareholders have responded. The company has set a 90-day deadline for the submission of claims. Should no claims be received within this period, the unclaimed amounts will be transferred to the Federal Government as stipulated under Sub-section (2) of Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017.
