Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Seeks to Strengthen Economic Ties with Kuwait

Islamabad, During a sideline meeting at the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting in Riyadh, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged with Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to discuss enhancing the Pakistan-Kuwait relationship into a robust economic partnership.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his intentions to deepen economic connections following the recent signing of several Memorandums of Understanding and agreements aimed at boosting trade and investment between the two nations. He reassured the Kuwaiti leadership of Pakistan’s commitment to implementing these agreements efficiently and timely.

The discussions also touched on broader regional issues, including the crisis in Gaza. The Prime Minister took this opportunity to reaffirm his invitation to the Amir, encouraging him to visit Pakistan to further bilateral discussions and cooperation.
