Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says provision of quality education to every citizen is the responsibility of the state.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore today, he said that besides education, teachers ought to pay attention on the character building and training of the youth.
He said that universities is only for research.
The Governor stressed that we have to excel in the field of research as there is no progress without research and development.
