Lahore, Following a violent incident in Issa Khel, Mianwali, that resulted in three fatalities and injuries to six others, Punjab Police Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar has taken decisive action. Dr. Anwar has called for a thorough report from the Regional Police Officer of Sargodha and has issued directives for immediate and comprehensive investigation of the incident.
According to Punjab Police, on the orders of IG Punjab, a specialized team led by Mianwali District Police Officer Matiullah Khan conducted a raid resulting in the arrest of six primary suspects involved in the shooting. The operation is ongoing, with efforts to capture two additional suspects who are currently at large.
DPO Mianwali, Matiullah Khan, assured that the investigation is being handled meticulously and that all legal requirements are being met to ensure timely justice for the victims’ families. The Punjab Police remains committed to resolving the case swiftly and upholding law and order in the region.
