Qatar Praises Pakistan Navy’s Role in Regional Maritime Security

Doha, Qatar has expressed appreciation for the Pakistan Navy’s efforts in maintaining maritime security in the region, highlighting their role during high-level meetings.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf met with the Chief of Staff of Qatari Forces and the Commander of the Qatari Emiri Navy during his visit to Qatar. The discussions emphasized the Pakistan Navy’s contributions to regional peace and stability, including its active involvement in Maritime Security Patrols and the Combined Maritime Forces.

The meetings also covered defence relations, bilateral maritime cooperation, and various issues of mutual and regional interest. Additionally, Admiral Ashraf toured the Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy, the Umm Al Houl Naval Base, and inspected Qatari Emiri Navy ships, where he was briefed on the capabilities of the Qatari Navy.
