Quetta, A significant celebration marked the successful pediatric heart surgeries conducted at the Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology, culminating in a cake-cutting ceremony attended by local health officials and esteemed medical professionals. The event highlighted the effective collaboration between the institute and the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) which has enhanced cardiac care for children in Balochistan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the ceremony was attended by Provincial Health Minister Sardar Faisal Jamali, Health Secretary Saleh Muhammad Baloch, and other prominent figures including Brigadier Umar Iftikhar Kahlon, CEO of Sheikh Zayed Hospital. The health leaders met with the children who underwent surgery and their families, discussing the life-changing impact of the treatments.

The officials expressed gratitude towards the medical teams and management for their roles in facilitating these crucial services.

Looking forward, the participants voiced optimism that the partnership between the two institutes would continue to grow, further enhancing the ability to treat heart diseases in Balochistan and potentially expanding the services throughout the province.
