Rafhan Maize Announces Director Elections for Upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting

Faisalabad: Rafhan Maize Products Co. Limited has announced the candidates for its forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting, scheduled for September 5, 2024, in Faisalabad, under the requirements of the Companies Act, 2017.

The company notified its members that in accordance with Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, the following individuals have expressed their intention to serve as Directors. The election will fill a total of 11 board seats. Notably, the list of candidates matches the number of available seats, suggesting that these nominees will be appointed without contest.

For the role of Female Director, Ms. Tanya Jaegar de Foras is the sole candidate. The Independent Directors category has drawn three candidates: Mr. Tahir Jawaid, Mr. Kamran Yousuf Mirza, and Mr. Humayun Bashir. Additionally, seven candidates, including Mr. Michael F. O’Riordan, Mr. Humair Ijaz, Mr. James D. Gray, Mr. Zulfikar Mannoo, Mian M. Adil Mannoo, Mr. Wisal A. Mannoo, and Mr. Adil Saeed Khan, are set to fill the remaining seats.
