Muzaffarabad: The routine life is normal in different cities of Azad Kashmir including Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Neelum, Bhimber, and Kotli. People in these cities are engaged in their daily activities, with educational, business, and social events proceeding without disruption.
According to Radio Pakistan, the residents of Azad Kashmir have collectively dismissed the protest call issued by an outlawed organization aimed at creating unrest. Instead, they have chosen to maintain peace and continue with their regular lives. In response to the situation, Anjuman Hussainiya Bhimber, a local organization in Azad Kashmir, has publicly distanced itself from the banned Joint Public Action Committee and has urged an end to the protests.
In a statement, Anjuman Hussainiya Bhimber has instructed the disturbance committee to refrain from actions that could disrupt peace and law and order in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The statement highlighted the significance of Muharram-ul-Haram, a month dedicated to the remembrance of patience, sacrifice, selflessness, truth, and honesty. It also expressed concerns that the enforcement of Section 144, a preventive measure due to potential violence, might impact religious gatherings.
Anjuman Hussainiya Bhimber further appealed to the outlawed Joint Action Committee to cease confrontational activities, allowing people, particularly mourners, to observe their religious rituals peacefully.
