Science and technology sector being given priority

Peshawar: The female MPA of ANP Yasmin Zia Marwat inaugurated a science laboratory at Government Higher Secondary School, Naurang District Bannu on Thursday. On this occasion Director Education Javed Abbas Bangash, Principal of the School Sanaullah Khan, officials of Education Department and elite of the area were also present.

It merit mention here that the provincial government has provided essential equipments and machinery worth Rs. 11 lacs for the laboratory so that the teachers could easily taught science subjects to their students.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Yasmin Zia said that government was giving priority to the education sector particularly the promotion of science and technology. That was why, she added the government has not only established computer labs in the educational institution of the province but science equipments and modern machineries to these labs are also being provided.

She added that after the passage of 18th Amendment the provincial government was now independent to formulate their own policies particularly the education and health sectors. Therefore in future such policies are being adopted which will have revolutionary effects on the public, she said and added that NFC Award and Provincial Autonomy were such deeds of the ANP government whose benefits have begun reaching the people.
