Security Forces Eliminate Key Terrorist in Buner, Two Soldiers Martyred in Operation

Buner, In a targeted operation on April 13, 2024, in Buner District, security forces of Pakistan successfully neutralized a high-value terrorist leader, known as Saleem @Rabbani, after a fierce exchange of fire. Two other terrorists were injured in the clash, marking a significant blow to terrorist activities in the region.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operation was based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. Saleem @Rabbani, who had been involved in numerous attacks against security forces and civilians, carried a bounty of PKR 5 million. During the operation, Lance Havildar Mudassar Mehmood and Lance Naik Haseeb Javed bravely lost their lives. The security forces are currently conducting a sanitization operation to ensure all remaining threats are neutralized.

The loss of Mudassar Mehmood from Rawalpindi and Haseeb Javed from Poonch has been described as a sacrifice that reinforces the military’s resolve to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan.
