Security Forces Neutralize Terrorist Ringleader in Peshawar Operation

Islamabad, In a significant counter-terrorism operation during the night of May 30-31, 2024, Pakistani security forces successfully eliminated a notorious terrorist leader and his accomplice in the Hassan Khel area of Peshawar District.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, The operation was launched based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. The security forces engaged the terrorists’ hideout effectively, resulting in the deaths of Ayaz, also known as Muhammad, and Ahmedey, known by the alias Koochi. Two other terrorists were injured during the encounter. The deceased were implicated in numerous attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also seized from the location.

Local residents expressed their gratitude for the operation, which has brought a sense of relief to the community. Following the operation, security forces are conducting a thorough sanitization of the area to ensure no terrorist elements remain. The operation underscores the Pakistani security forces’ resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country.
