Srinagar, June 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has strongly condemned the National Investigation Custody (NIA) custody of illegally detained resistance leader, Masarat Alam Butt and termed it as the worst demonstration of political vendetta.
Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement in Srinagar also denounced booking of Hurriyat leaders Shabbir Shah and Aasiya Andrabi in fresh cases. He said these leaders have no fault except they believe that Jammu and Kashmir is a political dispute and are struggling for its political settlement which had been promised to the people of Kashmir. He urged human rights organizations to play role in ensuring shifting of all the Kashmiri prisoners back to the Kashmir Valley without any further delay and play its role in their unconditional release.
