Shazia Marri condemns attack by violent PTI protesters on Radio Pakistan Peshawar building

Islamabad, May 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Peoples Party leader and Minister for Social Safety and Poverty Alleviation Shazia Marri has strongly denounced the attack by violent PTI protesters on Radio Pakistan Peshawar building. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said no one has the right to damage public or private property in the country.

The Minister said Imran Khan’s arrest has been made by NAB in accordance with law and Islamabad High Court has declared this arrest legal. Shazia Marri said no one should be considered a sacred cow, everyone is equal in the eyes of law. She said there is no red line but the country and no one will be allowed to act against the state institutions. She said instead of letting lose its mobs to unleash vandalism, PTI should resort to due process of law.
