Sibi Division’s Efforts to Boost Forest Conservation and Plantation

Sibi: Commissioner Sibi Division, Syed Zahid Shah, conducted a thorough inspection of the forest department nursery in Gulu city, emphasizing the critical role of nurseries in regional reforestation and environmental protection efforts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Commissioner Shah reviewed the prepared plant material intended for area plantations and discussed measures to safeguard these vital environmental assets. Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ali Asghar Magsi and other forestry officials, he highlighted the importance of community involvement in forest conservation and called on the public to actively participate in tree planting initiatives. Shah remarked that achieving Pakistan’s environmental goals heavily relies on the availability and healthy cultivation of plants in such nurseries, which are essential for successful plantation campaigns.
