Karachi, At the fourth convocation of DHA Suffa University, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the role of universities as crucial incubators of technology and knowledge, announcing the establishment of two state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) labs at the institution.
According to Chief Minister Sindh, the event, held at the DA Golf and Country Club, was an opportunity for Shah to outline his vision for higher education in the region. He praised DHA Suffa University for its rapid progress since its inception in 2012 and its contributions to both academic excellence and nation-building. Shah’s remarks underscored the importance of universities in fostering innovative ideas and training future leaders.
During his speech, Shah also acknowledged DHA Karachi’s efforts in providing quality education at all levels, from playgroup to postgraduate studies, including PhD programs in Engineering, Computer, and Management Sciences. He highlighted the initiative of DHA Suffa University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center “Aghaz,” which focuses on encouraging graduates to become job providers rather than job seekers.
The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to supporting the youth of Sindh with job and business opportunities and wished all graduates success in their future endeavors. He stressed the importance of staying adaptive and proactive in the face of rapid technological and socio-economic changes.
