Sindh Governor Launches Employment Scheme for Persons with Disabilities

Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori attended an event by the Disabled Welfare Association to honor individuals with disabilities, announcing the launch of the Rozgar Ani Shetto employment scheme which will provide loans to support self-employment and entrepreneurship.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori made an impactful entrance by navigating a wheelchair into the event, demonstrating solidarity with the disabled community. During the event, he praised the determination and spirit of individuals with disabilities, asserting that they possess remarkable intelligence and courage. The newly announced Rozgar Ani Shetto scheme aims to offer financial loans ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1 crore, to empower people, particularly those with disabilities, to become self-reliant and economically active.

Governor Tesori expressed his commitment to service, invoking divine support for his continued role in aiding the citizens of Sindh, especially those facing physical challenges.
