Software Technology Park and Free Sourcing Hub Launched in Kotli, Azad Kashmir

Kotli: The Special Communications Organization (SCO) has inaugurated a new Software Technology Park and Free Sourcing Hub in Kotli, Azad Kashmir, aiming to boost local technological capacity and empower the youth.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the facility was officially opened by Major General Umar Ahmed Shah, Director General of SCO. The event was attended by various civil and military officials, as well as a significant number of local youth and students, highlighting the community’s involvement and interest in the new development.

These initiatives are part of a broader effort to provide the youth in the region with opportunities in technology and innovation, which are seen as critical areas for development and employment in the modern economy.
