Islamabad, January 26, 2014 (PPI-OT): Mr Shujaat Azeem, the newly appointed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Aviation called on the Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar this morning and discussed with him issues related to Aviation Division and Pakistan International Airlines(PIA). During the meeting Mr. Shujaat Azeem apprised the Finance Minister about the issues and problems facing the Aviation Division and PIA.
The Finance Minister asked him to prepare a summary after approval of the Prime Minister, the Minister incharge, identifying the issues and place them for consideration of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC)which is scheduled to meet on Tuesday,Jan28th so that a decision can be made on them. The meeting was attended by Secretary Finance Dr Waqar Masood and Advisor to the Ministry of Finance Rana Assad Amin.
