Karachi, June 08, 2012 (PPI-OT): It s hereby informed to all concerned that the Board of Directors of ICI Pakistan Limited in accordance with the Scheme of Arrangement for the Reconstruction of the Company and to implement the provisions of the Scheme has fixed June 27, 2012 as the record date being the date with reference to which the entitlement of the shareholders of ICI Pakistan Limited to shares of Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited and to shares in the reduced capital of ICI Pakistan Limited will be determined, The Company has also announced the dates of book closure from June 21, 2012 to June 27, 2012 for the purpose.
In view of above and as requested by the company, trading in the shares of ICI Pakistan Limited will be suspended with effect from the date of commencement of book closure i.e. June 21, 2012. The last day of trading through KATS in the Shares of the company will be June 19, 2012, however, Negotiated Deals on C-to-C basis will only be allowed at T+0 upto 100 pm on June 20, 2012.
It is further informed that application for listing of Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited has also been received, which will be listed on fulfilment of the relevant requirements. Separate Notice of commencement of trading in the reduced capital of ICI Pakistan Limited and listing and trading in the shares of Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited will be issued on fulfillment of the relevant requirements.
