Tragic Incident in Kupwara Results in Two Deaths and Three Hospitalizations

Srinagar, A tragic incident in the Kralpora village of Kupwara district led to two fatalities and three individuals hospitalized after a group fell unconscious inside a well while cleaning it.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an official stated that the group of five people succumbed to suffocation while cleaning the well in Satboin Dardpora. A local rescue operation was quickly mounted as news of the incident spread. “After strenuous efforts, the individuals were extracted from the well and transported to a nearby hospital,” the official recounted. At the hospital, two of the group were pronounced dead, identified as Farid Ahmad Khoja and Bashir Ahmad Khoja. The three survivors, Safeer Ahmad, Qasim ud Din, and Abdul Hameed, are currently receiving medical treatment.
