Washik, Following special instructions from MPA Washik Haji Mir Zabad Ali Riki, District Health Officer Washik Dr. Chaker Anwar Baloch initiated a week-long mosquito control campaign in Washik. The campaign, part of the Malaria Control Program, aims to reduce the risk of malaria by conducting mosquito spraying across various urban areas, including Washik city.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the campaign’s launch was officiated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Washik Muhammad Umar Jamali, with support from the Municipal Committee Washik. The mosquito spray team was led by Sarbra Khalilur Rehman Loraja, along with other team members.
The spray campaign will focus on areas where mosquitoes are prevalent to prevent the spread of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases. The initiative is expected to improve public health by reducing the mosquito population and creating a safer environment for residents.
