Balochistan Government Initiates Infrastructure and Energy Projects

Quetta: Provincial Agriculture Minister Haji Ali Madd Jatak announced the commencement of several infrastructure and energy projects aimed at enhancing basic facilities across various districts of Balochistan, including the conversion of tubewells to solar energy.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Jatak, during meetings with delegations from Chaman, Pashin, Loralai, Kalat, Mastung, and Quetta, outlined the government’s commitment to infrastructure improvements and energy sustainability. He detailed the ongoing projects designed to improve road networks and sewage systems in numerous communities, which are expected to provide significant relief upon completion.

The minister highlighted a major initiative to convert 28,000 tubewells to solar energy, aiming to reduce the operational costs for landowners and promote environmental sustainability. This project, considered a significant achievement by the current administration, is part of broader efforts to address longstanding issues faced by local landowners and residents.
