Balochistan Minister Pledges Swift Rehabilitation in Flood-Hit Areas

Quetta: Provincial Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Bakht Muhammad Kakar has committed to rapid recovery efforts in the wake of recent floods and rains that have impacted nearly half of the province. Kakar emphasized the government’s dedication to restoring and repairing infrastructure, particularly roads in Hana Orak damaged by the weather.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the minister expressed these views during a meeting with Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) officials and in a telephonic conversation with constituents. He has directed authorities to promptly assess all affected areas and hasten rehabilitation efforts, ensuring that the residents do not feel isolated in their time of need.

Furthermore, Minister Kakar announced that immediate relief measures are underway for the local farming community, with a comprehensive survey to assess and compensate for agricultural losses. The provincial government is set to announce a relief package soon, aiming to utilize all available resources to aid those affected by the floods.
