Islamabad, June 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): Benazir Income Support Program will release the 4th quarterly tranche of Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance from tomorrow. After a 25 percent increase announced by the government early this year, each beneficiary will receive nine thousand rupees in the fourth quarter.
In addition to Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance, Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend’s instalments of January to March is also being disbursed to 6.7 million eligible school going students having at least 70 percent attendance. About eighty-one billion rupees will be disbursed among nine million beneficiary families of Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance, while another 16 billion rupees will be doled out to the 6.7 million beneficiaries of Taleemi Wazaif.
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme, Shazia Marri has called upon the registered beneficiaries to receive full amount of nine thousand rupees along with the receipt of payment. She has directed the officials concerned to ensure transparency through strict monitoring and vigilance.
