By arresting Hurriyet leaders, India has accepted defeat: JKSM

Srinagar, May 04, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement while condemning the stepped-up Indian state terrorism has said that authorities have virtually and evidently turned Jammu and Kashmir into a police state just to make the sham polls successful.

The JKSM Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt who continues to remain in police custody since 29th April hoped that people of north Kashmir like the people in south and central Kashmir would also reject the polls. He said that senior leaders of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement hailing from Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara have also been arrested and lodged in several police stations.

Zafar Akbar Butt said that this undemocratic arrest spree established the Indian oppression and exposed New Delhi’s claims. He said that by these arrests Indian had accepted defeat.
