Constitution of Pakistan ensures basic rights to people, says Tasneem Qureshi

Islamabad, May 29, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister of State/ SAPM for Industries and Production, Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi has said constitution of Pakistan ensures all basic rights including education, freedom of expression and religious practices to the people of the country. He expressed these views while addressing an event to celebrate golden jubilee of the 1973 constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan under the title “my constitution-guarantee of my freedom” at a local hotel in Sargodha on Monday.

“The 1973 constitution binds people of all the federating units and provides them with opportunity to practice political activities freely”, the minster maintained. He said the role of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto will be remembered always for his contribution in framing the constitution.

The event was arranged by Shaheed Bhutto foundation in collaboration with Sargodha Bar Association. Leader of Pakistan people’s party Nadeem Afzal Chun, Chief Executive Officer of Shaheed Zulfiqar foundation Asif khan, President Sargodha Bar Association Zafer Yasin, Miss Sadia Sajid Sheikh, Vice President Sargodha Bar Association, Dr. Ibrar Zahoor Bhatti HoD, history and Pakistan Studies University of Sargodha were also among the speakers who addressed the event.
