Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath Takes Charge as Health Coordinator to the Prime Minister

Islamabad, Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Bharath has officially begun his tenure as the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination. His appointment marks a significant transition in the ministry, which is at the forefront of Pakistan’s health sector policymaking and regulation.

According to Press Information Department, Dr. Bharath was welcomed by Secretary Iftikhar Ali Shallwani and other ministry officials upon his arrival. During this initial meeting, Secretary Shallwani provided Dr. Bharath with a briefing on critical issues and the operational framework of the ministry, setting the stage for his new role in guiding the national health services agenda.
