Dukki Revenue Department Targets Enhanced Collection, Emphasizes Crop Inspection

Dukki: The Deputy Commissioner of Dukki, Kaleemullah Kakar, chaired a crucial meeting focused on boosting revenue collection across various sectors, including agricultural income tax and capital value tax. The session, attended by key revenue officials, set forth directives for enhanced oversight and regular assessments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in revenue operations.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting underscored the implementation of strategies discussed in a recent biennial meeting led by the Commissioner of Loralai Division. Key initiatives include the introduction of fortnightly meetings to address challenges in revenue collection and explicit instructions for the periodic inspection of crops to rectify the oversight from the previous season.

The Assistant Commissioners have been tasked with monitoring the revenue staff’s activities closely, including ensuring timely documentation and reporting on progress. The meeting highlighted the urgency of updating and completing documentation for 22 of the 87 posts in the district, a task delayed for decades and now prioritized for immediate action.
