Election Commission of Pakistan Extends Deadline for Senate Nomination Papers

Islamabad, In a move aimed at facilitating the candidates, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced an extension in the deadline for filing nomination papers for the upcoming Senate elections. This adjustment provides additional time for potential candidates to submit their documents, ensuring broader participation in the electoral process.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, an ECP spokesperson stated that the new deadline for the submission of nomination papers to the returning officers is now set for six pm today. This extension is expected to accommodate those who may have been unable to meet the original deadline, allowing for a more inclusive and comprehensive electoral process.
