Energy Minister Intervenes to Prevent Load Shedding During Karachi Matric Exams

Karachi, In a move to tackle the acute distress caused by load shedding during matriculation exams, Sindh Provincial Minister for Energy, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has directed the Secretary of Energy to ensure an uninterrupted power supply at all examination centers.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, the minister’s action came after reports of students fainting during exams. Secretary Energy, Mossadegh Ahmed Khan, promptly contacted the CEOs of K Electric, HESCO, and SEPCO, relaying the minister’s stern directives for uninterrupted electricity during the exam period. The CEOs have assured full cooperation in implementing the minister’s orders to exempt all matriculation examination centers from load shedding.
