Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi recently met with a delegation from Kurram, led by MNA Hamid Hussain, to address recent conflicts in the region. The minister emphasized the need for a comprehensive strategy to prevent future incidents and called for unity and brotherhood among the area’s communities.

According to Press Information Department, Naqvi expressed his concern over the recent violent clashes in Kurram, which he noted had been misinterpreted by some. He stressed the importance of local leaders in fostering a peaceful resolution and assured the delegation of the government’s full support in these efforts. The meeting aimed to develop a lasting solution to ensure harmony in Kurram.

The Interior Minister also scheduled further discussions with representatives from both groups involved in the conflict. The delegation included notable figures such as Munir Hussain, Professor Shabbir Bangash, Muhammad Bashir Bangash, Rahim Gul, and Haji Noor Rahman, with Federal Secretary Interior Khurram Ali Agha also in attendance. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to restoring peace and building a cohesive community in the troubled region.
