Federal Minister Emphasizes Utilizing In-house Departments for Development Projects

Islamabad, In a recent meeting at the Ministry of Housing and Works, Federal Minister Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada emphasized the importance of leveraging the capabilities of in-house departments, namely the National Construction Limited (NCL) and Pakistan Environmental Planning and Architectural Consultants (PEPAC), for the ministry’s ongoing and future development projects. The meeting served as a platform for the heads of these departments to present their achievements and the progress of their projects.

According to Press Information Department, the presentations made by NCL and PEPAC outlined their management structures, working mechanisms, and the completion of significant projects, garnering appreciation from Minister Pirzada. Highlighting the critical role these departments play in the developmental agenda of the ministry, he stressed the necessity of supporting and utilizing their expertise more effectively.

Additionally, Minister Pirzada directed the prompt appointment of a regular Managing Director for NCL to ensure its smooth operation and efficiency. The meeting, attended by Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, Secretary of Housing and Works, along with other senior officers from the ministry, NCL, and PEPAC, underscored the government’s commitment to enhancing the performance and output of its development sectors through internal collaboration and resource optimization.
