Islamabad, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with representatives from the Aerated Beverage Industry, including the President of Lotte Akhtar Beverages, Mr. Ghazi Akhtar, and the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Mehmet Pacaci. The meeting focused on discussing the industry’s growth potential and the impact of government economic policies.

According to Ministry of Finance, the delegation presented tax proposals aimed at adjusting the Federal Excise Duty to support industry expansion and enhance government revenue. Minister Aurangzeb reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the private sector and underscored the Prime Minister’s vision for economic growth led by private enterprise. He assured strategic governmental support within the fiscal constraints, acknowledging the positive impact of the ongoing privatization efforts.
