Finance Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Clean Energy During Meeting with Suzuki Delegation

Islamabad, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb today reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting clean energy in a meeting with a delegation from Suzuki Motors Corporation, led by its Japanese Global Vice President, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa. The discussion focused on Suzuki’s contributions to Pakistan’s automobile industry and its future investment plans in the country.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Aurangzeb praised Suzuki for its long-standing role in developing the local automotive sector and discussed Pakistan’s potential as a large market poised for growth and as a future hub for exports. He emphasized the government’s strategy to foster investments in clean energy as part of its broader economic development plan.

Mr. Ayukawa briefed the Minister on Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited’s history in Pakistan since 1983 and shared their long-term investment proposals, signaling continued commitment to the Pakistani market.
