GIT Students to Pursue Engineering Diploma in China

Islamabad, Ten students from the Gwadar Institute of Technology (GIT) have been selected for a diploma course in Associate Engineering at Hebei Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College in China, marking a significant step in educational collaboration between Pakistan and China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these students originate from various remote cities of Balochistan, including Gwadar, Pasni, Turbat, Panjgur, and Surab. This opportunity has been made possible through a scholarship sponsored by the Government of Balochistan and the Chinese company Tang, reflecting the deep-rooted educational ties and mutual cooperation between the two regions.

Before their departure, the selected students met with the Chinese Consul General in Karachi, where they expressed their gratitude towards the Balochistan Government and the Pakistan Army for providing them with this unique educational opportunity. This initiative not only underscores the growing educational exchange between Pakistan and China but also highlights the commitment to enhancing the skill set of students from remote areas, providing them with pathways to advanced learning and future career prospects in engineering.
